Ducks
Ducks are easier to keep than chickens but ideally need more space. Many believe that to keep ducks you need a pond but this is not true. Many ducks are quite happy with a large washing up bowl or a children's sandpit filled with water. Ducks do not commonly suffer from lice and are easy to house (more detail below).

Housing
Ducks housing can be really simple. They don't need perches or nest boxes, just a dry, sheltered, well ventilated area where they can sleep at night safe from predators.
